Eddie Wall and Pierre Wikberg recently launched this new project called Video Hyper Shred

“Video Hyper Shred” (VHS)

California, March 26, 2010 — The goal of VHS,  www.videohypershred.com, is to update videos and photos every single day of the season.  The clips will be short, raw, and feature pro snowboarders, ams, legends, friends, skaters, girls, drunks, industry tools and animals. The site will include all types of snowboarding; film trips, fun laps, bangers, trick tips, archival footage, interviews, behind-the-scenes, hugs, high fives and much more.

VHS will be a great way for riders and companies to get their talent and image out to the public every single day.  The creative possibilities are virtually endless and VHS aims to entertain everyone, whether they be pros, weekend warriors, kids, teens, fans, haters, or single women between the ages of 20 and 40.

The internet has changed the way snowboard videos are viewed. Declining dvd sales and growing online activity are signs that the old formula of how we film and view videos needs to change.  Filming 200 days a year for a 2 min video part doesn´t make as much sense as it used to.

Heikki Sorsa at the 2008 Winter Dew Tour Breckenridge

Weekend Snowboards today announced that Heikki Sorsa will
now be receiving boxes of their snowboards. But it does’nt stop
there. He will be taking them out of the box, putting bindings on
them, and performing professional level snowboard maneuvers
on them at mountains, sports arenas, and perhaps even the
occasional shaved ice covered parking lot worldwide.

Heikki just returned from High Cascade Snowboard Camp where
he was doing his Signature Session with campers that came from
as far away as Maine, Japan and even more exotic locations like
New Jersey.

This upcoming month, you will find Heikki at the typical pro
snowboarder summer hangouts. You know, Whistler Wahoo’s,
Talma Trestles, Mount Snow Mexico, and other hotbeds of
professional snowboarding prowess.

Heikki joins Wyoming native Mark Carter on Weekend.  It really
works out well because now Mark won’t be the only one partying
in the hot tub on team trips anymore, because that was kind of
getting weird.

the years to come. “Christian and I have known Heikki for a long time
now, and to have the opportunity to work together is amazing. We all
have a lot of great ideas and are really excited to have him involved
with the brand. He will definitely have a hand in shaping it for years

The Booze Brothers Tour

With all the spirit of great North American road trip movies, Sean Miller and Jesse Fox of Sales and Marketing agency ‘Feedback Management Inc’ hit the road today, their mission – to get to Manitoba and back in 13 days hitting as many accounts on the way and surviving only on doritios, coors lite and each others methane!

Of course, the boys aren’t going to Chicago, perhaps on another trip! This time it’s all the way through to sunny Manitoba passing through our province of BC then on to AB, SK and then looping through MB before returning home.  All tall order in 13 days, especially when there are shops to visit, parks and spots to skate and kids to stoke out!
